Class of 2010 – Nevada Verbal Commitment
- A mid-year addition to Nevada, Rosa will team up with Jared Jackson as mid-year defensive end JUCO transfers in the Pack’s 2010 class. Both will be eligible to play spring ball. Rosa will have four (years) to play three (seasons).
- Rosa brings both speed and size to the edge of the Pack defense., standing 6-foot-4, 255-pounds and blessed with 4.7 forty speed.
- “Rosa is a freak with his size and ability,” Glendale CC teammate Max Williams said. “He’s young, a good person and a good student of the game. He makes big plays. He’s got a promising future.”
- Nevada wide receiver assistant Scott Baumgartner was Rosa’s lead recruiter.
- “Nobody worked with me like Coach Baumgartner, my lead recruiter. He was amazing. I mean, he’s stuck with me when I left Taft to go to San Fernando, and then over to Glendale. He’s been unbelievable to me. I love that guy.”
