Class of 2010 – Nevada Verbal Commitment

- The first 2010 JUCO prospect to give Nevada a pledge, Jackson is one heck of a prospect that simply jumps off the screen on film. He’s a longtime hoops prospect that finally decided to give football a try after fitting into that undersized/oversized power forward category for so long.  He played basketball not only in high school, but played a year at Grossmont College too.

- But two years ago, Jackson decided enough was enough. He’d always wanted to try football, and for years, everyone encouraged him to give it a go. So he did. The results have been dramatic. He led Southwestern in tackles, had 3 sacks, forced a fumble and returned another for a score.  Jackson brings a dynamic and athletic presence to the field.

- Jackson will have two years to play two season, therefore expect to see him make an immediate impact on the Pack defense.  He’ll also be a mid-year transfer, which will allow him to get spring and fall practices under his belt before he gets to take the field.
