Wedding Photographer and DJ

So does anyone have any suggestions on a good affordable wedding photographer in town? Had a family friend looking at doing our wedding, but she backed out because she did not feel comfortable, so we are back to square one on that.

Also, still looking for an affordable DJ. At this point it seems most places are about 800 and nickel and dime for everything.

Mr. Toons was a good DJ back in the day. I was at 5-6 wedding he did. He listened to you and if you said DONT play a specific song he wouldn't.

The DJ (Sounds Unlimited - (775) 746-9387) we used 10-years ago is a husband/wife team. You pay for the DJ, but you also get great help with the event execution/timing because of the team. We've seen them at a number of friends weddings over the years and are great people. Their rates were very competitive before, don't know how things have changed. I'd at least sit down with them.

If Mark Rauh doesn't do wedding, consider Nevada Raider's wife (http://www.kendallpricephotography.com/). Also consider Darby Ann Photography (http://www.photographybydarbyann.com). We didn't do a wedding, just family pics. They were priced right and turned out great. But we have friends that have and gave her very high endorsements to others. Be sure to ask her about her 49ers credentials and pics of Kaep. You might be able to get something included!

What a pain! Glad I'm well past this mess.

We used this guy, http://www.thedjreno.com/thedj.html, and he was fantastic. He was very reasonable and professional. I've also been to a few weddings that he has done and he was just as good as he was at my wedding.

I had Jessi LeMay for my wedding photography and was really glad I did. She did a really good job and it works out as a better deal because you get print rights which can be a big money saver on the back end.

Obviously by now I am sure you have found someone Chris, but I would have totally sent you Brandon Russell's way. He and his partner Josh are SUPERB wedding photographers!

I have shot weddings as a second shooter but not as a lead. I specialize in moving targets.
