Nevada -14 vs. SMU O/U 73.5
Fresno State -11 vs, Wyoming O/U 55.5
Idaho +1 vs. Bowling Green O/U 68
BSU +7 vs. TCU O/U 54.5
Nevada line much larger than I expected. That is also the largest O/U number I can recall seeing this year.

Wow. No respect for the defenses or SMU, imo.

44-30 sounds about right.

At first I was thinking -18, then -21. -14 seems a bit too low. I don't think this is going to be much of a game if we play like we have lately.

Nevada is 1-3 in bowl games since Ault's return. As a fan I'm taking nothing for granted.

I agree with BB. As much as things on paper say we should run all day on this team, we seem to play horribly in these games. I don't know if we don't adjust to them, or they have enough time to figure out how to stop us.

Agreed. Even though this is a June Jones team we still aren't familiar with them and NEVADA seems to struggle with long periods between games either because opposing coaches get extra time to adjust to the NEVADA offense or NEVADA just goes flat. I'd love to see a blowout (especially seeing that this will be the only game played X-mas eve) but I'm a bit skeptical that will happen just knowing past efforts.

Nevada, as has been said before by other posters like WolfPackJack, needs to keep the offense simple and not change things in preparation for next year. This game is all about using our dominate run game to run over a smallish SMU dline. If we try to get fancy and throw the ball around 30 times, I don't see us covering or winning for that matter....I just hope the coaches don't outthink themselves with all this time off. Run, Run, Run!

This gamis is going to be the Mike Ball show.

June knows how to prepare kids to play in Hawaii. This should be a fun game to watch, with little or no D played and lots of points scored, only hope Nevada scores the most.

The only game in the last six seasons in which the pack lost and and was larger than a 3 point favorite was the NMSU game last season.
An amazing fact, Nevada is 16-3 against the spread as a double digit favorite over the last six season.

And that win was in Hawaii vs a C-USA team.

I don't think Nevada has any business being 14 point favorites in this game. Our pass D stinks, they pass well, their run D is below average, we run crazy good. This looks like an even game to me. Throw in the intangible that you don't know what you get with Nevada in these kind of games.
If coach treats this as a glorified practice game, they'll lose. If they go in to dominate with what they do best. they'll win.
Coach K out at practice today in a T-shirt and shorts, I love that guy!:p

Boise a 7 point dog, I can see that. I'd be surprised if Boise pulls this game out. I also think Boise fans are the biggest doinks on the interent for bitching about being in this game.
Looks to me like Florida was protected by the BCS. They didn't want to have the BCS darlings suffer like Alabama last year. In other words, at least Cincy is a BCS team. Go Cincy
I like Oregon
Alabama vs Texas, other than betting I could care less
My bets, Alabama, TCU, Oregon, Cincinnati, Ga Tech
Go Pack
