I never understood why nbc felt forced to keep conan back in 2004, where they that scared of what could happen if he jumped ship to another network. Personally, I don’t find conan funny his antics were perfect when he was on the Late Night show and that is why he was successful, his routine just isn’t able to reach enough people on the comdemy spectrum. For example I turn on his show a few weeks ago and they were flinging food at a guy spinning around….funny……no….maybe if it were on later??
Goodbye Conan…welcome back Jay..I hope Jimmy Norton keeps coming back

To me, Conan has more jokes/skits/improv that make me laugh out loud than either Leno or Letterman. But he also has more jokes/skits/improv that are just plain dumb and make me wonder who could possibly have thought that was going to be funny. It's kind of like the streak shooter in basketball. He can get on a roll or he can be ice cold.
Leno is just more consistent and polished. Frankly, I'm kind of surprised the 10 o'clock thing didn't work. When I first heard about it, I thought it was a stroke of genius. Late night comedy at a time when everybody can watch it. I watched the first 3 episodes and then never watched again. Not that it wasn't funny, I just had better things to do/watch at that time.

I have always found Conan's shtick hilarious and Jay Leno not so much. I respect Conan for sticking to his guns and not bowing down to NBC. They need to force Jay to hang it up, like he said he was, and allow Conan to establish himself with his audience at the right time slot.

Conan is such a barbarian.

I like them both. Jaywalking is the funniest thing on TV. But Conan's Pimpbot,
Triumph, Masturbating Bear and more just flippin' kill me. Like mentioned above, Conan is hit and miss, but when he's on he's GOLD!
