8-6 Nevada. Pacific going to the line. Two dumb turnovers for the Pack, but outside that they look good.

Shot selection by the Pack is good tonight.

Turnovers are killing us.

Worst charging call I've ever seen. Giles drove and jumped past a defender. The defender flopped when Giles went outside him and he still got the call. That's 3 mystery fouls on the Pack so far. Also, 5 passes thrown out of bounds by Nevada. So I think all the turnovers are bad passes and charging fouls. Oh, one travel by Luke.

8 straight points for pacific. 26-23 Tiger.

Shaw for THREE!

I still am having trouble with Giles. He's a turnover waiting to happen, and this is his sophomore year

Heck yeah AJ for 3 at the buzzer

My biggest problem with Giles is that we get ZERO offense out of him. Kraemer is too one dimensional. If you don't leave him alone in the corner we get ZERO offense out of him too. When they are both in the game, the offense is very flat.

I had to check first half stats to be sure, but it's turnovers and foul shots that are keeping Pacific in the game.http://server308.serverquality.com/~sbs/forum/../../%7Esbs/forum/images/icons/icon13.gif

I agree with the assessment, it just seems he turns the ball over a lot to me. He got hosed on the charging call in this game. We need more from him. I thought the line on Giles coming in was he earned his nickname "cotton" because he was a shooter. Haven't seen that in the past 1+ years that's for sure

Nevada turnovers and fouls plus offensive boards for the Tigers the only thing keeping Pacific close. Nevada better at everything else.

What can Nevada do to slow down the offensive rebounds. It seems that is an area that could become a big issue later.

PACKFAN22

We stopped rebounding, allowed them to close the gap. We were plus 8 or so early, then we let them close to the point where we were plus 1 at the half

need to take better shots

What we need are the refs to play it down the middle. I don't like complaining about them so much, but my friend and I are baffled by some of these calls that are going on this half.

We have 2 players on the NBA draft board and we are losing to Pacific?

You do realize we NEVER win in Pacific right? We've won like twice all-time there.

Why is that? Do our players go stupid against that team?

We are a very poor jump shooting team and we don't have a low post game. Stop Luke and get Dario in foul trouble and we struggle. If anyone but AJ is at point guard, we struggle.

We have no depth of talent...especially scoring.

We need to drive into the paint ever single possession...aint getting the calls but still should be sending armon and brandon in every time

I guess we now know why Pacific is so tough at home. If you aren't up by at least 10 points at the two minute mark you have no chance of winning the game.

I suspect it's a good thing I didn't see this game. Bad officiating can put me in a tailspin.

I just hope the wheels don't come off the wagon. 2-4 is not good but the four losses are to decent teams.

I don't think it matters much though. It is becoming apparent that the WAC probably will be a one bid league so I just hope these guys put it together before the WAC tournament. Learn from these losses to be good in late February and early March.

It is concerning that all 4 losses are on the road . . .

Dude don't blame the refs. Blaming the refs is the easy way out. If we played better, we'd win regardless of refs. Blaming the refs is the losers excuse, what we should be doing is asking what needs to be done to fix that, because you can't control the refs. Human error is part of the game of basketball, you can't complain about the game of basketball.

It's not often I blame refs, and yes, the team could have still won. But I'm not talking about small errors that tend to pop up. Some of these calls were ridiculous. Seeing as Spuds and others that also don't normally complain about refs saw the same things I did, I think there's some truth there.
