Anyone watch The Walking Dead on AMC?

If not you should be, it's one of the best shows on tv right now. The first season just ended (only 6 episodes), and it has already been picked up for a 2nd season. The season finale aired last night and was the most watched episode of a tv show in basic cable history.

I've watched. It's got some good points. But how is it that so many dumb people survived? I haven't watched last night's episode yet, but I've been close to shutting this series down. It's got enough promise that I've barely hung on.
