BTW, Fresno just beat Illinois on one of the craziest 2 point conversions I've ever seen. 53-52 and I gotta say...I'm not a big PH fan but I love the call to go for two and the win on the road against the Big 10.

It's got to help. I think Cincy was the only team left that had any chance of being picked over BSU for the at large berth. And that would have been doubtful, IMO.

Excluding Texas of course, should they stumble against Nebraska.

So with Cincy winning that "could" keep BSU out of the BCS? I realize we won't know until tomorrow but that was a compelling win on the road and a must-win for Cincy - especially since it keeps their undefeated season alive.

No. Cincy now gets the Big East bid and guarantees only one team from the Big East. Had they lost there was a chance one of the BCS Bowls could have picked them over BSU. I posted this on the old board earlier today:

Big Ten and SEC are getting two teams each.

Pac 10, ACC, Big 12 and Big East get one team each.

TCU is in.



That leaves one at large spot for Boise.



If Texas loses today they would get that spot instead of Boise.



Other than Texas losing, one of the BCS Bowls would have to take a 1-loss Cincy team over Boise (like mhpf said). Who else is there to pick?

And I remembered why with his post game interview. She said something about "13th win vs. a BCS school" and before she even had time to correct herself he cuts her off and says "It's 14" and then when she started saying something about how they stunned the Illinois crowd and he cut her off again and said something about how they came to Wisconsin earlier and almost won and they expect to win and it's not stunning and blah blah...and all the reporter meant was that the fans were stunned because of the way they won it with 2 seconds left on such an odd 2 point conversion.

I wish she would have cut him off and said something like, "So if I mention how many WAC championships you've won Pat are you going to pop off and correct me on that too?"

Yeah I looked it up recently and the last time they finished better than THIRD in the WAC was like 03 or something. Yet some how they always seem to find their way into BCS buster talk at the start of the year.
