We did lose two of our top 3 1000 yd runners but we still have one guy...Kapernick. With this guy on the field anything can happen so never count us out. Everyone is talking about how much SMU is thrilled to be there and can throw the ball all day but no one is saying how they are going to stop Kap. I think he will torch them for 200+ yds on the ground and do enough with his arm to keep them honest. I think our secondary holds up just enough to win this shootout 41-35. If your fan of betting take the points but if you're a fan take Nevada!!!

The off-field distractions and absences of Luke and Vai could be trouble, yes, but I'm honestly still pretty confident they can take care of business today.

As good as SMU's offense can be, they've only converted 29% of their third downs and they've given up a LOT of sacks. Provided Lampford and Mike take good care of the ball and the defense makes some plays, they should be fine.
