You know who you are.
He played two excellent games yesterday and today. Come one and admit it!

I already did in the game thread and said he deserves a lot more minutes if he can continue to play this way. And it wasn't just his shooting in this game. He rebounded and defended much better.

His great shooting aside, I really liked his hustle in the BYU game, he was crashing the boards a lot and playing some really agressive D. He may not end up with a lot of rebounds or steals or whatever, but his hustle is something to be admired, and he has gone from a player who I thought barely deserved a scholly to a great change of pace off the bench.
Props to casper ;)

Great call. I was just scanning over the box score and realized he shot 100% both from the field and from three. With 11 points, 4 rebounds, a blocked three pointer (which was absolutely ridiculous, not many times do you get a completely clean swat on an attempted three ball) and no turnovers! Solid performance from an improving player!

Ray's only real limitation is also Joey Shaw's lateral quickness otherwise he is a real solid player and it was nice to see him tearing it up. On one play i saw him elevating for the jumper before the pass even got to his hands

Looking at the espn box score, Ray had a fantastic game. In total, we had 24pts. coming from the bench. Those are numbers I like to see with WAC play looming.

As of now (after the Tulsa game), Ray is 22-42 from the 3 (52.4%). And he's moved his average up against two good teams.
He looks very confident now, and is an asset we could use more, especially when Luke is doubled.

I was at both games and not only was I impressed with Ray, but also with Shaw. I've always been kind of iffy on Shaw, but he made some shots but I was mostly impressed with his hustle on some plays, good to see those guys producing at the level I wish they would have been all along.

I didn't get to watch or listen to the game, but after reading the paper it sounds like I was totally wrong about the tempo. The Pack can and will win with this style of play. Nice job Pack.

No you were right. The tempo for last nights game was only 69 or 70 possessions, depending on whose formula you use. There were 81 possession in the BYU game and the Pack lost. The difference (I beat this drum a lot, I know) is Offensive Efficiency.
Nevada average well over 1.45 points for every possession versus Tulsa.
The Pack average, even after Tulsa, is, depending on who's stats you use, 1.13 (BBState) or 1.18 (Pomeroy). The 1.18 number is adjusted for strength of schedule, so I'll use the actual number of 1.13. If that had been the Pack's Offensive Efficiency last night the team would have only scored 79.1 points.
The difference maker was in the quality of play, not the tempo of the game. The outstanding execution on offense led to the Pack scoring 20points more than they would have with their average execution.
