While I think you are equally ridiculous in a majority of your posts, I will agree with you here. What a shame.
Are we going to place bets on what he stole?
I'm thinking drunken hotel golf cart joy riding, nothing else to do in hawaii after the bars close

This should be right in your wheel house OBC. Shouldn't you be happy since you live to bag on the program? Davis made a serious mistake, and he's been dismissed. What more should we expect from the program? They did what they had to do and it's not like this is Alabama or Florida where they would cover it up and get it plead down to a misdemeanor and suspend him for a half.

I guess they thought this was a vacation trip. Nevada athletes continue to give an excellent name to the state's students!

The coaching staff acted appropriately, it's just ironic how Ault stood on his high horse (or pony?) to cast stones at the previous regime. Well here we are 6 years later, that's not bagging on the program either. Last time I checked UNLV hasn't had a fraction of the discipline or academic issues in recent memory. What are they doing that we aren't?

After reading this little blurb I made the mistake of reading some of the comments. You have to wonder if some of these people just sit down and wait for something negative to comment on about the program. So because we've a couple incidents in the past couple years Ault's being compared to Tormey???
How misinformed the public must be if a couple incidents leads everyone to believe that the program is corrupt and that Ault is recruiting thugs. We have such an ignorant fan base overall that these comments don't mean much but it does go to show how just a little bit of negative press reflects so poorly on us because people don't care to be educated and make opinions based off appearances only.
As it was mentioned you go to a bigger BCS school and these things are swept under the rug and the program does whatever it needs to make sure it's player(s) come out squeaky clean. Why...because they must win at all costs. I doubt you will ever any of the UF fans talk like ours do. Who cares if we're not on that level does that make them exempt from morals and standards. As I was...

Lack of institutional control? Wins are more important then behavior, discipline, self-respect or maturity.

A couple incidents, you have to be kidding right? We should have our own full time alcoholics anonymous counselor.

Taking 85+ college aged guys to Hawaii for a week and trying to keep them all out of trouble has to be a nightmare, and Nevada's down one adult chaperon and Ault's getting too old to do bed checks. I'm disappointed, but can't say I'm surprised. I hope CA does the "off with their heads" quick discipline and gets on with trying to win the game, which is very important to the program.

I am not too sure how focused they are for this one, after reading about them going to wet n wild and getting their feet cut up on the coral. Hopefully Colin took it easy.
