I'm going to be as honest as a heart attack fellas, this website is going to be responsible for ushering in the dark ages of Nevada football. Everyone here has a vested interest in the status quo, so any talk of changing coaches is viewed defensively as a smear campaign. If you your thin skinned buddies can't even have a conversation without getting rubbed the wrong way, then you shouldn't be involved in division 1 football.

I'm not a huge C. Ault fan but all things considered, at the mid sized U, who are you gonna get that will make you competitive and take you to a bowl, while maintaining a steller student athlete image on and off the field

It all depends on how the criticism is presented, rebel. When you offer legitimate criticisms of people and programs and can defend your position in both a thoughtful and civil manner, folks around here likely to respond in kind. There will usually be a few who come in guns blazing, but they should be easy to disarm and failing that, ignore. I've read several threads you've started on the Rebel board and they confirm what we all saw when you were still posting on the soon to be abandoned S&B board: you are completely incapable of having that type of discourse.
Though it appears you fancy yourself an intellectually superior individual, past arguments/criticisms you've mounted against both the university you attend and fans of that university have often ended up as invective-laced tirades against anything and everything ***, Reno and anybody supporting either. What sort of person engages in that sort of immature approach and then seeks comfort in the opinions of fans of the school he chooses to support, but doesn't attend and which happens to be the arch rival of the school he does attend but doesn't support (the great irony there is that fans of that institution don't appear to like you much either)? These aren't the actions of an intellectually superior and mature individual, they are the actions of a spoiled kid who doesn't like being told he's wrong and not nearly as bright as his parents always told him he was.
I'd say the ball is in your court, but I doubt anybody around here cares. I estimate you'll last about two weeks at most before you resort to your old tactics and get yourself booted from the board (the sentiments you relay above are a pretty bad start to a second chance on this board, in my opinion). It won't be because this is a repressive board that won't tolerate opinions other than those held by the moderators and serves only as an internet Nevada cheerleading site, it will be because you don't respect the rules, have no impulse control and at heart aren't a very nice person.

I believe there was some confusion here....

Hey guys... notice the moniker on this guy. It's Rebis2k3, not Rebels2k3. The "i" is switched out with an "l". Now, while they are both as sharp as a marble, they're aren't the same guy.
