Maybe if everyone could say where they are staying, what nights they would be up for going out, where they would be up for going to, etc we could all try to be at the same place(s) around the same times.

We are at Planet Hollywood. I can think of at least 10 family members including Mrs. and myself who are staying there.

I would be up for going out Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday.

I know someone who can help with getting into Lavo, Tao, and/or Haze if anyone would be interested. If there were enough people, we could do table service (it's pricey so we need enough to divide it up and ease the pain). Last time we went though it was pretty sick as we had our own bouncer, bathroom access, waitress, etc. I would be willing to try almost any of the clubs located on the strip or at Palms or Hard Rock.

We are down to go to the club that the #10 jersey's showed up at last year as well.:)

If no one wants to dress fancy and sweat it up, then we could just do the low key lounge/bar thing too.

I guess if people are interested in doing something, maybe lets coordinate that on facebook or something over the next few weeks.

I'll be staying at the Hard Rock Friday through Sunday. I think most people will be scattered between the strip and family. And I'm down for where the jersey's were on display last year as well ;-0 .

Also, I'll look into getting specifics on where the alumni party is Friday night, and maybe our buddy/mod in LV can look into securing a tailgate spot - I'll chip in $$.

Would this be similar to the one that was at Hooters in '08? Also, are non-alumni (I'm a UNLV Alum) allowed to attend?

No the alumni was somewhere else. This one was sanctioned by the S&B/WPC boys.

I believe the alumni event this year is at Pete's Dueling Piano Bar at Town Square. $20 for members and $25 for non-members.

Sigh... until my kids either don't play football or both have a BYE I won't be making any away games. :(

We'll be working with Alumni to promote that party and on Saturday we are renting a space at Sam Boyd to host a tailgater of monstrous proportions!! If we get enough people we will secure a 2nd spot (each spot is 30 x 60 on the grass plus 3 parking spots.) The sooner we get numbers the better.

Also, I'm up for anything Friday night and Saturday after the game as well.

The deadline to reserve one of the 30 x 60 spaces is August 27th, so this is imperative.

I may now be in for the game. I need to work out a couple of logistics, but my wife said that she isn't as concerned about me missing that marching competition.
