Washington v Portland just started. Interesting game. Portland's center could pose problems for the Pack.

That inbound Brandon just gave to Armon reminded me of the one Kirk gave Kevin so many years ago.... ah, memories

Double teams on AJ at the top of the key. Maybe they read our Den posts on AJ's play correlating with wins and losses.

Welcome to Keith Olson. Hope you get some playing time (guessing you will), and good luck tonight!

Wagner with 3 uncontested 3s for 9 of their 11 points. It's the only thing keeping them close.

Pack 0 for 4 on 3s. 7 for 10 on 2s.

Shaw hitting the 12 footers, at least.

Agree with the announcers. Didn't see the carry by Luke.
Some great inside scores by Armon and Luke!

I like the offense. Like someone wrote earlier I don't miss watching the Pack pass the ball for 26 seconds then someone going one on one. I just don't know why the team can't hit a three to save their souls.

Here comes Olson, lets see how he does!

OK, foul by Olson. But he does look big!

Yeah, we had too many times last year when Armon would get the ball late on the clock, dribble the ball outside until the clock nearly runs out then drive it inside. He's a great player and made a few of those, but that's not how to play team basketball. Don't see it yet this year. But it's there if we need it.

He looks pretty huge!

Len just mentioned the Pack 2 for their last 20 3pt attempts. I like the defensive aggression. The players are working hard, but giving up lots of open 3s. Luckily Wagner is missing them now.

Well, at least our great web cast still has the open mike!!
And yes, the free throw by Kraemer looked horrible.

A couple more remarks about the Nevada webcast.
Yes, we do have more cameras, but that's the only positive other than the feed doesn't seem to lock up for me like it did for the football games and previous years.
Still no score shown. And while I like the behind the basket shots, they use it way too much! If the ball is outside the arch, keep the longer distance view so I can see what's going on with all the players. But no, they use a behind the basket view where you can't see that much, other than who has the ball.
Behind basket is good. But just use it when the ball gets near the basket.

Thanks for the stats SIS!
It looks like you figured out a way to do it here, not that it looks easy. I guess you took a screen shot and saved it as a jpg somewhere and posted it?
If so, it works. But I loved how easy it was to copy and paste the tables on the old board. I hope that can be added here.

I hate the low angle camera. I've complained about it and got the same response I've received with my other complaints like no visible score, graphics and replays blocking the view of the game etcetera. They think that it's so cheap we should just be happy.
And I LOVE the open microphone.
I hate admitting this, but I don't have a lot of fun watching this team. They just can't put things together vs crappy competition. 8 flipping turnovers and 0-8 on threes. Sickening.

I do what you said, plus I crop it so it's not so big. Pain in the a$$, but doable.:(

Babbitt not confident with his 3's this year. He was geat last year.
He just had a give me 3, all the time he wanted. But passed on it.

But I must add Babbitt's inside game and rebounding is far above last year...

Well, Cotton just hit a sweet 3. And they say he has 5 assists.
Hopefully this adds to his confidence. But I'm surprised Coach took him out.

I'd give him as much time as possible. If he can start playing 20 minutes a game it would be a big help. Still, the bench is playing the best it's played all year IMHO. They only have 8 points, but they're playing as a team.

Well, from what I saw, Olson can help us. And that's good news IMO...

I think it says something that Olson was in the game in the first half with only a 4 point lead. (1) Carter has confidence in him. (2) Carter wants to develop him, fast.
As big as he looks in his photos, he looks bigger out on the court. I hope he's up to speed by the time we face some of the big boys in the WAC, but having an additional big man to get some time will be huge for the Pack.
Also, glad to hear that the crowd was noticeably pulling for him. That's always nice to hear.
