Why doesn't my picture show up next to my posts?

I went into my profile and added a file to the "profile picture" and "avatar", but it doesn't look like anything is showing up. Anyone having a similar problem, or know any tricks/tips?

I can see it. You need to go to "User CP" then click on Edit Options and scroll down until you get Thread Display options. There you need to make sure you have Show Avatars checked if you want to see them, also where you check for signatures.
