Lampford Mark, Mike Ball and Courtney Randall will lead the nation's top rushing attack against SMU.

And yet I'm confident there won't be a drop off. :D

The OL makes such big holes, I could even start and there wouldn't be any drop off. OK, there would. :D

The performances are so impressive that the PAC 10 bucks the trend of rivalries and invites Nevada as an 11th member right after the game. ;)

Well don't forget, the Pistol has been firing a lot of blanks (esp vs NM) our last 3 bowl games. I just hope things change with this one. But I do feel pretty good with Mark and Ball. Hopefully turnovers aren't an issue due to lack of experience.
Let's just keep fingers crossed that SMU doesn't pull a Wyoming...

I look at it differently I guess. 484 yards of offense last year in the bowl game. The pistol isn't a running offense. It's an offense. If they gear to stop the run then we should be able to pass for 300 yards. I know that's how Ault looks at it as I've heard him say it. But, the receivers, QB and line have got to get on the same page. If the Pack passes well they'll beat SMU by 3 scores or more.

Yep. The pass game is there. One thing coach knows how to do is draw up a pass play. But do we have the players to execute it.
I've been thinking about Colins low interception ratio. Could it be because he's not pulling the trigger when he should? Watching these other college games, I see many times where the QB wil throw the ball up to a receiver that looks covered and let the receiver make a play, in fact Wyoming had one for a TD today.

The amazing thing about CK is his freshman stats. He threw the ball deep and completed lots of long passes for a fantastic ypc and ypa average. He only completed a little over 50% but he had (IIRC) 19TDs and only 3 INTs and was ranked in the top 10 or 11 QBs in the nation. Now he seems almost afraid to throw deep. Some of that is his willingness to run, some his concern over being sacked, but I don't understand it.
