Anyone catch the women's gold medal game yesterday? You couldn't pay me to watch women's basketball, but this was different. It wasn't as quick as the NHL, but the flow and style of the game was pretty similar to the men's (less checking). Both medal games were great because both teams really don't like each other also.

I have to admit, it turned me into a women's hockey fan.

You're right. Depending on the refs, there is some leeway for checking. Fins and Swedes got into a brawl in the bronze medal game.

Anyone else catching the US team absolutely plunger raping the Fins.

Good games for my Buckeyes. We had players on all three women's medal teams and are guaranteed at least a Silver with the men's team.
