Normally I would have been at the basketball game tonight, but due to the below zero temperatures and the 70 mile trip on icy roads, I decided to stay home and listen to it on the radio. I thought Len Stevens did a decent job of providing color commentary and insight into the game, and I enjoyed listening to him. You can tell he still really follows the team and cares about the program. I, for one, hope he continues in this capacity...

He is a homer, but I guess that's OK for a color guy in the college game. At least we have Radke to offset him.

I do question how much he follows the team, though. In an earlier broadcast I heard him say that the European trip really helped Kraemer's game. That's kind of hard to understand since Ray stayed at home. :p

He clearly knows the game, and is interesting to listen to. I'd take him over any of our old announcers in a second.
