...that used to be on the Sci-Fi Channel called Mystery Science Theater 3000? This guy and his two robot friends would sit down in the corner of the screen and make fun of terrible movies. The show was canceled back in the late 90s, but the main actors from that show have created an Internet facsimile called RiffTrax.

They're funny audio commentaries you buy from their site, put on to an MP3 player and synch up to a DVD movie -- essentially what they did on the show, but with more current and famous movies. They only cost like $3 or $4 each, and they're a really funny way of watching a lot of different movies. Here are some compilations that fans have put together of some of their work:

Spider-man 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwT-QYFODNQ)

It was pretty much a weekend morning ritual to watch MST3000 in the early '90s. I thought it went downhill a bit when they changed some of the cast, (Joel replaced by that Mike Nelson guy IIRC and Tom Servo was different as well I think) but it was still pretty entertaining.

I grew up with the late 90s Sci-Fi channel episodes, so those are what I'm more biased towards. Joel had some great episodes, too, so ultimately it came down to which host you were more partial to. I'll admit the host segments were bad in the later years, but their riffing usually made up for it.

Servo was actually the same guy for pretty much the show's entire run -- I think the one you're thinking of is Crow.
