LOL, I feel bad for this owner and he certainly has a sense of humor. This mountain home in WA is for sale (foreclosed), and look at the photos......it's halfway under water. For features, he's got Dock, Wet Bar, Pond, Pool, etc.

[Stuck in Seattle]

Too funny. It's nice out there at North Bend, that's the area where the lodge in "Twin Peaks" is located (for all you old folks out there). And a lot of idiots own houses in flood zones up here. They get flooded every few years, the government declares it an emergency and gives them money, and along with the insurance it must work out.

Well, it looks like my next destination might be Seattle....or Spokane/Coeur D'Alene. I'll rent my house here and rent up there...and hopefully I can come back in a year or so.

SiS, what do you think of the Snohomish area? It seems like the houses are pretty reasonable in that area.

I much prefer the north end up toward Snohomish to the south end where I live in Des Moines. There's more money up north, but houses generally cost more as well. The economy in Spokane is not great, but the cost of living is a lot less than in Seattle and I like the area over there as well. Let me know if you come up for a visit and we'll grab a beer.

Yeah, I'll definitely let you know. I should know Tuesday when I'm supposed to be up there for an interview. I had a phone interview yesterday and that went pretty well. Fingers crossed.
