Connor Talbott Recruiting Bio
6-foot-3, 255-pound CenterReno (NV) – Bishop Manogue High School – Class of 2011 Verbal Commitment (2010 Greyshirt)
- One of the most dedicated young men we met on the recruiting trail last year, Talbott, who’s parents also attended the University of Nevada, will greyshirt the 2010 season and enter Nevada at the mid-semester point as he continues to put on strength and size. He’s a terrific athlete for a kid his size and has the attitude all future members of “The Union” need to be successful. Talbott was an All-League and all-Northern Nevada selection during his senior year.
- Talbott projects as a center, and potentially the Wolf Pack long-snapper, of the future.
Coaches Comments
“I’ve known about Connor for the past two years or so, and we recruited another guy there so we’ve been watching him for quite some time now. What’s really impressive about him is how much he’s developed both off and on the field. He was something like 5-foot-9, 135-pounds as a freshman, and now he’s 6-foot-3, 250-pounds. So that’s a lot of development. Connor is also from a fantastic family.
“On the field, he’s really a tough guy. I’ve liked his attitude from the moment I first spoke with him. He’s very decisive and intelligent. He had a number of Ivy League opportunities, but he’s staying home and playing for the Pack. He’s a Nevada lineman all the way.” – Nevada assistant coach Cameron Norcross after Talbott signed with Nevada on National Signing Day 2010.
