The Nevada Wolf Pack quarterback soap opera continues.
Head coach Chris Ault said Monday that he won’t decide on his starting quarterback for Saturday’s game with UNLV at Mackay Stadium until late in the week.
Our contributor Andrew Maurins (metaphorically) sat down with Kevan Lee of One Bronco Nation Under God for some Boise State insight before Saturday’s game.
Chris Ault can’t help but admire the Boise State Broncos football program.
“No question,” the Nevada Wolf Pack coach said this week. “Boise is the signature program. They have everything that I’m envious of.”
The first time Chris Ault was asked about Boise State’s new blue turf he could barely contain his enthusiasm.
“I love it,” Ault told the Reno Gazette-Journal in November 1986. “I’m anxious to see it. I think it’s an innovative idea.”
Intro: This week, the nation’s longest losing streak is broken, the WAC continues to suck in non-conference play and UNLV both delights and confuses us with their unique brand of awfulness.

The Nevada Wolf Pack might have a new starting quarterback this Saturday. “We’ll name the starter Friday or Saturday and go from there,” head coach Chris Ault said. Starter Tyler Lantrip and backup Cody Fajardo split the quarterback duties in last Saturday’s 35-34 loss at Texas Tech. Lantrip basically played the first and fourth quarters, getting [...]
If all of this conference re-alignment talk is making your head spin…well, at least you didn’t have to write two separate articles in the space of a day, then update the second article because it was already out of date. An irate Scott Daniel touches on the impact of the most recent round of [...]
Silver and Blue Sports’ Andrew Maurins sat down with Red Raider blogger Seth C. from Double T Nation for a lighthearted look at the upcoming Nevada at Texas Tech game. Andrew also returned the favor here.
