Nevada evened their record to 3-3 on the year with a convincing victory over the Lobos. The Wolf Pack racked up 598 yards of offense while at the same time holding New Mexico to just 7 points on the day.
The Nevada Wolf Pack defense bared its teeth once again on Saturday and sent the New Mexico Lobos back home with their tails between the legs.
Saturday’s 49-7 ritualized slaughter of New Mexico provides an excellent opportunity to illustrate a social principal, prevalent in the animal kingdom, which also applies to the emerging football “rivalry” between the Wolf Pack and the Lobos.
Nobody has to remind Brett Roy about the last time the Nevada Wolf Pack played the New Mexico Lobos.
