Evans officially part of the Pack

It took a little longer than anyone wanted it to around Nevada basketball, but the word finally came for former Los Angeles (Calif.) prep standout Jerry Evans.  He is now officially part of the Wolf Pack program after the NCAA Eligibility Center.

The matchup at the Lawlor Center between the Nevada Wolf Pack and the New Mexico State Aggies featured some of the premier players in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).  The game had three of the top five scorers in the WAC and this game lived up to its billing as a high scoring affair.

Nevada 83, SJSU 79

It was a great night for Nevada basketball, as the Pack took care of business on the road with an 83-79 victory against a feisty San Jose State team. It was the seventh time this season Nevada killed a one-game losing streak, bouncing back quickly into the winners circle.
