Ask any fan of the Silver and Blue on this site who stands out in the 2010 basketball recruiting class nationally, and the first prospect they’ll say is Deonta Burton.  This Saturday, Burton will take his first official visit to Nevada.

Compton (Calif.) Centennial high school playmaker and high-rising scorer Deonta Burton continues to impress on-lookers.  With SilverandBlueSports on hand, his 26-point first half explosion against an overwhelmed El Segundo team was absolutely dynamite.

He’s done the work, waited his turn, and now former Leuzinger high school star Jerry Evans is good to go.  The 2008-09 All-CIF Selection and All-League honoree was cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse and will arrive at the University of Nevada this weekend.
