The Pack baseball team stayed hot on Tuesday afternoon, winning for the fifth time in their past 8 games and moving their record to 17-13-1 after scoring an 8-5 victory over visiting Saint Mary’s College.
The Nevada Wolf Pack were looking for the sweep in the series finale against UC-Irvine on Sunday at Peccole Park, but the Anteaters came out swinging and avoided the sweep with a 10-3 victory.
The Nevada Wolf Pack came into the second game against UC-Irvine with some momentum after taking Friday’s game one from the Top 25 ranked Anteaters. That proved large as the Pack pulled another upset on Saturday, winning 6-4 at Peccole Park.
