- Knight is one of the greatest individual stories surrounding Wolf Pack football in 2010.  A cousin of talented Boston College running back Derrick Knight, Anthony had committed last summer to his cousin’s old college coach, Tom O’Brien, at North Carolina State after camping there.  Knight put down a pretty impressive 40-time, showed his skills and monster size, and got the offer.
- However, Knight started to look at other opportunities across the country after making his official visit to Raleigh in early December and deciding that playing in the ACC wasn’t for him.  Numerous schools had come in on him, and as of Signing Day, Knight had offers from various schools in the Big East, ACC and Big Ten.
- Knight had heard about Nevada from his close friend, Jeffrey Lark, a prospect who has never been to Nevada but has plans to join the program once he’s eligible. Lark and Knight attend different prep schools in the New England area, and once Knight had contacted Nevada recruiter James Spady, he was able to learn a lot more about the rising Nevada program.  He had watched a handful of games, including the 2011 Kraft Bowl against Boston College, and after visiting Reno officially he made the call.
- Knight is the first player to really arrive at Nevada because of their rising national profile, and he’ll have an opportunity to play very early in his career.  He’s got plenty of size, speed and strength, and his attitude and dedication to Nevada is startling for a young man who grew up in the greater Boston area.
