SilverandBlueSports spoke with Nevada assistant coach Dennis Gates on Media Day at Lawlor Events Center.  Now in his second season, Gates, who was on the short list for at least one vacancy in his native Chicago this past off-season, talked about the youth movement on the Wolf Pack, plus the opportunity to play in the 2010 Preseason NIT.

Coach Gates, a former Cal guard known to many Golden Bear alums simply as “The Sheriff”, also dropped a comment on the recent Cal-Nevada football game in this video release.

year, Carter talked about the youth of his team, the chemistry that is still building and flowing within the group, plus the fact that every starting job is wide open as they head into the first day of practice a little more than a week away.
