Logan’s Running
Over the course of this past recruiting cycle, one prep prospect that continuously stood out was Highland Park (Mich.) athlete Lanier Logan. SilverandBlueSports featured the talented and extremely strong playmaker who performed at a very high level on both sides of the ball in the state of Michigan.
An AP all-Michigan honorable mention during his senior year as a linebacker, Logan did it all for the Polar Bears. He had over 967 yards on 108 carries, averaging a very Nevada like 8.9 yards per carry. He also added 14 touchdowns on the ground, and 2 more after receptions. On defense, he racked up 86 tackles and 7 interceptions.
“He does it all,” said Highland Park head coach Cedric Dortch. “Anything you ask him to do, he does it, and he does it well. He’s irreplaceable in a lot of ways, because he was the heart and soul of our team too.”
Of course, the funny thing about being an all-State linebacker was the fact that Logan didn’t even play the position.
“Yes, that always made me laugh a bit too,” Logan said. “When I heard about that, I was like, ‘wow’, I never played linebacker on defense. I always played safety. But that’s okay. I’ll take that honor at any position they want to put me.”
Look for more on Logan in the near future on SilverandBlueSports.

Will be an Outstanding addition for the PACK!!
What exactly is his status? It says he played his senior year, but no word if he will be coming here or going to juco or what.
Nothing’s definite just yet Beantown, but Nevada wants to add an RB to this class, and the kid they call “Buck” out of HP is a player.
Buck is a STUD!!! A true workhorse on the gid iron and in class room. Can’t wait to see him in silver and blue.
Thanks AW.
