USU-Nevada 150-3On Sunday, reigning WAC Player of the Year Luke Babbitt completed another NBA Draft workout, this time in Salt Lake City in order to meet and perform for the Utah Jazz.  Babbitt worked out with five other Draft prospects for the Jazz, who hold the No. 9 overall selection in the 2010 NBA Draft.

Along with Babbitt, who Utah appears to be seriously considering with their lottery pick, the Jazz brought in Gordon Hayward (Butler), Al-Farouq Aminu (Wake Forest), Xavier Henry (Kansas), Damion James (Texas) and Ryan Thompson (Rider).

Babbitt was reported to have performed very well, and after the workouts were over, Jazz GM Kevin O’Connor answered questions.  While he answered plenty of questions regarding Hayward and the Butler star’s background, he concluded the interview by mentioning the former Nevada standout first.

Although a number of fans have asked whether or not Babbitt plans to be on location in New York City at the time of the 2010 NBA Draft, he has yet to commit to that.

“Don’t know about that yet,” Babbitt said.  “I haven’t made a decision.”
