- Burton is the most explosive guard to enter the Nevada program since Armon Johnson over three years ago. He was the CIF Southern Section Division III Player of the Year, plus the John R. Wooden High School Player of the Year Award, this past season for Div. III level after averaging 21.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists at Compton (Calif.) Centennial high school.  Burton has a swagger in his game that is unmistakable, and he’s blessed with extremely quick hands and feet, plus a physical build and fearless attitude.

- Nevada added some very talented and athletic players in this loaded 2010 class, yet it all started with Burris.  He was the lone signee this past November, bringing his athletic game and outstanding perimeter skills to the Pack program.  The lengthy 6-foot-6 Bakersfield is a young man that just has a knack for making big plays. As his video shows, Burris does everything well, including rebounding the ball and defending smaller players.

Olek Czyz – 6-foot-7, 240-pound Small ForwardOlek-Czyz-300-1

Reno (Nev.) – Reno High School, transfer via Duke University

- There are few players in the country that possess the size and athleticism of Czyz, a Reno high graduate who transferred to Nevada from Duke mid-semester.  He’s a physical, all-around performer who can do a little bit of everything on the court. Czyz is also a high-energy player that loves to play the game, and there’s little doubt he’ll start more than a handful of runs for the  Pack once he’s eligible mid-season.  He’s arguably the top above the rim player Nevada has ever had, as he’s simply an incredible highlight-reel dunker with fantastic leaping abilities. A native of Poland, Czyz is competing with the national Polish team this summer.

Illiwa Baldwin – 6-foot-11, 260-pound CenterIlliwa Baldwin 965-1

Queensland (Australia) – Pratt (Kan.) Community College

- Known simply as “Illi” to everyone close to him, Baldwin, who is a 24 year old native of Queensland, Australia, is an exceptional defensive player and a terror on the offensive glass, priding himself on getting key rebounds in close games. He has developed into a comfortable back-to-the-basket scorer, and he led the Western Conference in rebounding at over 10 per game, including over 4 rebounds per game on the offensive glass. Baldwin is also an excellent perimeter scorer. A first-team all-Western Conference selection after his sophomore season, Baldwin’s size alone will standout to the Wolf Pack faithful.  He’s a lengthy, strong and very bouncy center that should really improve his overall game as a member of the Nevada program.

Derrell Conner – 5-foot-10, 170-pound Point GuardDerrell Conner 965-1

East Chicago (Ind.) High School – Kankakee (Ill.) Community College

- Video Reel 1

- Video Reel 2

- The second of two Junior College additions to the Nevada program, Conner has best been described as a complete team player, an ultimate competitor and a tough as nails point guard prospect who just wins wherever he plays.  He’s backed those statements up season after season, including this past year when he led KCC to a 29-4 overall record.  Playing in the state of Illinois top JUCO division and region, with Kankakee JC located just south of Chicago, Conner placed in the top 10 in scoring, assists, steals and free throw shooting.  He was named a Division IV All-Region first-team selection.

Jordan Finn – 6-foot-4, 190-pound Point GuardJordan Finn 650-1

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) – Etiwanda High School – Air Force Preparatory School

- Video Reel 1

- Video Interview 1

- Video Interview 2

- Finn, who developed in an Eagles program that is long on tradition since Dave Kleckner took over the Etiwanda program, is best described as a winner. He does everything it takes for a team to win, and is arguably the best defensive backcourt player in Nevada’s 2010 class. Finn led Etiwanda to 98 wins during his 4-year varsity career. He led the Eagles in numerous categories, including scoring as a sophomore.

Kevin Panzer – 6-foot-8, 190-pound Power ForwardKevin Panzer 650-1

Mission Viejo (Calif.) – Capistrano Valley High School

- Video Reel 3

- The final addition to Nevada’s loaded 2010 recruiting class, Panzer’s ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter at a very efficient rate is the first thing that catches your eye.  He doesn’t just knock down open jumpers either. The Capistrano Valley stud does it with a consistent, quick release shot that seems to always be in rhythm. He’s also a steady rebounder and an underrated defender and shot-blocker.  He averaged 15.7 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game during his senior year for the Cougars.
